Piercing Aftercare

Body Jewelry

Clean your piercing 2 times a day with a prescribed cleanser, provided by your piercer. For all piercings, you may use ice or ibuprofen to combat swelling. Call our body piercing shop if you have any further questions.

For oral piercings, use low- or alcohol-free mouthwash after eating. Use the provided cleanser to clean the outer portion of piercing. Stay away from yeast and dairy foods and drinks for 7-10 days. Refrain from smoking until your body jewelry is healed! If you do smoke, immediately use mouthwash to disinfect.

For surface/navel/nipple piercings, use the provided cleanser 2 times a day for 7-10 days. Also, soak your piercing once per day for first 3-5 days, or any time irritation occurs in the future.
