Tattoo Aftercare

After your tattoo is complete, your artist will properly bandage it. Leave the bandage on for 24 hours before removing it. Thoroughly wash your hands, then wash the tattoo with non-scented, non-medicated soap. Pat it dry gently.

After the tattoo is completely dry, apply a micro-thin layer of non-scented, hydrating ointment (Eucerin Aquaphor) 2-3 times a day for 7-10 days. Do not scratch or pick at your tattoo! This will cause scarring. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from dust and debris until it’s fully healed. Stay out of rivers, lakes, hot tubs and pools until it’s fully healed (10-15days).
